We all know how dinosaurs died... The asteroid that created a 150 km wide huge crater in Chicxulub Mexico was the one to blame 

The asteroid that wiped out Dinosaurs is 10to15km in size which is not a joke compared to other big boys out there in space. This asteroid is the reason for mass extinction of many creatures and killed almost millions of creatures. Now in this post we are going to know is

We all know that earth spins at the speed of  67000 miles per hour i.e., 30kilometeres/sec 

and considering the diameter of earth which is 12742Km we are going to calculate the distance and time now we have these 

Earths diameter=12742km

Earths velocity=67000Miles per hour or 30Km per sec

 Now after calculating the distance and time of earth and asteroid arrival 

we have the answer 

The answer is 7minutes 55 seconds on this time earth would travel around 13590Kilometers 

by subtracting our distance from earths diameter we have 848KM 

So if the asteroid was 7min55sec late then it would have missed and dinosaurs will still ruling the earth and we humans are not able to evolve and survive life on this beautiful planet.
